Lindsay Lohan Defends Bloody Photoshoot
Lindsay Lohan has described her latest photoshoot as art, but many who have seen it beg to differ.
The actress and singer is seen in skimpy lingerie and smeared in blood in a series of pictures by photographer and director Tyler Shields.
The shots are all part of a book called The Dirty Side Of Glamour and also show Lindsay holding a gun to her head and spurting blood from her mouth.
The 23-year-old posted some of the images on Twitter. But one fan wrote: "Try to keep it classy," while another added: "It’s promoting violence as sexy".
The Mean Girls actress has defended the shoot, insisting "It’s not soft core porn, hunny, it’s called ART."
The star has had a troubled couple of years. Her father reportedly barged into her apartment with police recently, in an attempt to stage an intervention. Lindsay previously spent time in rehab and went to court for substance abuse problems and driving while under the influence.
